Duemila30 is an international film experience dedicated to young talented filmmakers and focused on sustainable development and social inclusion.
Conceived as a platform for the advancement of social impact storytelling, Duemila30 is permeated by a unique atmosphere, made of young filmmakers from all over the world, international movie industry professionals, social and environmental activists and the young and passionate staff.
These elements allow for the creation of a fertile inclusive environment where ideas thrive and knowledge is effectively created and exchanged.
Join us for three days of workshops, screenings and events in Milan on the 9th, 10th and 11th of June 2023.
Submit your social impact short film on filmfreeway or apply to join the program if you don’t have a short film. The whole program is free for everyone, and accommodation is offered by us for a limited number of participants.
You will live an extremely intense three days surrounded by young filmmakers from all over the world (25 different countries attended last year).
You will have the chance to personally interact and work with international professionals and experts of the movie industry.
All participant’s short films will be screened in dedicated feedback sessions and you’ll exchange ideas with activists and learn from their experience how to better tell social impact stories.
You’ll work in groups on an original new short and have the chance to win a production budget for it.
It was a really amazing experience to attend the festival in Milan. Festival management did an amazing job with the communication and the content of the festival. We watched really amazing films and attend really amazing workshops and met international filmmakers all around the world. It was an outstanding experience. Thank you for everything.
